Denim
Crystal International, a prominent apparel manufacturer, has unveiled a new denim collection in collaboration with industry leaders such as Advance Denim and the Lycra Company. This collection, comprising nine jeans, promises to seamlessly blend comfort, style, and body-enhancing features, thanks to the incorporation of Lycra’s FitSense denim technology.
Utilizing 3D virtual technology during the design and development phase, Crystal Denim analyzed pressure points exerted by jeans on various body parts like the tummy, waist, and thighs. This approach allowed for the engineering of smart-fit denim tailored to contour and shape different body types while strategically activating stretch control areas for optimal effect.
The new collection aims to provide a customizable fit solution that perfectly conforms to the body. It offers a diverse range of cut-seam details, silhouettes, washes, and finishes to cater to a wide array of preferences. Through numerous trials and tests, Crystal Denim successfully managed to control stretchability across different fabrications, washes, and finishes, ensuring precision in fit.
Miles Lam, assistant general manager at Crystal Denim, expressed excitement about the introduction of the Smart-Fit jeans collection. He emphasized the company’s dedication to refining the concept of ‘perfect jeans,’ aiming to empower customers to embrace their unique shapes and radiate confidence while experiencing ultra comfort throughout the day.
