The 10th China-Latin America and the Caribbean Business Summit is set to take place from October 13-14 in Tangshan city. According to the Chinese Peruvian Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese government believes this summit is one of the most important tools available to boost trade and investment ties with Latin America.

A senior-level delegation from the People’s Republic of China will in Lima to promote the participation of Peruvian entrepreneurs and invite them at the China LAC summit.

The Chinese delegation will be led by Hebei Province Governor Fu Zhifang, and President of the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Hebei, Zhang Lihong. Both Asian authorities will give a press conference on August 26.

Peru’s Vice-Minister of Production Juan Carlos Mathews and Presidential Adviser Maximo San Roman will join the media event, too.

The summit will feature 1500 Chinese entrepreneurs from textile, energy, mining, manufacture, tourism, infrastructure, agriculture and banking sectors, who are expected to meet their future Latin American business partners to discuss projects of common interests.

The Summit provides a unique platform to enable direct exchange between Chinese businessmen and their Latin American counterparts, deepen knowledge on trade and investment opportunities in Latin America, and discuss measures and actions to promote and facilitate trade and investment.
