The Better Cotton initiative and Net Zero Pakistan (NZP) have entered a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance sustainability practices on cotton farms throughout Pakistan. Established in 2021 by the Pakistan Environmental Trust, Net Zero Pakistan comprises national companies, public institutions, and sectoral experts. Its primary objective is to ensure that Pakistan's carbon emissions remain within sustainable levels, aligning with the global target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
