Artistic Milliners x Archroma
Artistic Milliners, an international denim manufacturer, and Archroma, a specialty chemicals company, are teaming up to create environmentally friendly denim. They are using Archroma’s Diresul evolution black dyestuff, which requires less water and energy, and reduces CO2 emissions during dye synthesis.
Artistic Milliners is actively working with Archroma’s research and innovation team to expand the application of the new black coloration system. Their goal is to combine it with other colors and performance effects, further advancing sustainable practices in the denim manufacturing industry.
Omer Ahmed, the managing director at Artistic Milliners, expressed excitement about promoting eco-forward denim production with Archroma. He emphasized the company’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of clothing for both brands and consumers.
Umberto De Vita, the director of the denim market segment at Archroma Textile Effects, highlighted their pride in collaborating with industry leaders like Artistic Milliners. He stated that Diresul evolution black is part of Archroma’s ongoing efforts to create environmentally conscious and economically viable denim production that adds value to brands.
