Archroma, a leading global supplier of specialty chemicals, is set to present its latest advancements in denim dyeing and processing at two key industry events: Denim Première Vision in Milan on May 21–22 and Denimsandjeans Vietnam on June 25–26.

Archroma will spotlight DENIM HALO, a new pretreatment and dyeing innovation designed to help mills create popular distressed denim looks with a smaller ecological footprint. This process combines DIRSOL RD p, a new yarn pretreatment, with Archroma’s range of indigo, sulfur, and biosynthetic dyes. The result is denim that performs well in laser finishing, shows high contrast in dark shades, and doesn’t require changes to existing dye formulas or equipment.

Beyond enhancing color and finish, DENIM HALO also improves yarn strength and reduces shrinkage. The process helps save water and energy, eliminates the need for potassium permanganate, and reduces reliance on caustic soda during sulfur dyeing, contributing to a cleaner production cycle.

In addition to demonstrating technical innovations, Archroma will debut a new capsule collection featuring Black Denim made using DENIM HALO and DIRESUL EVOLUTION BLACK. Produced with high-quality fabric from Kipas Denim and finished using Jeanologia’s sustainable washing technology, the collection presents a fresh, modern take on black denim that combines elevated design with more responsible manufacturing.
