Albis invests in advanced machinery for innovative nonwoven products

Albis, a company known for producing nonwoven materials for medical and hygiene purposes, is making a significant investment to enhance their capabilities. They’ve acquired a new machine that can produce specialized nonwoven fabrics with a width of 5.10 meters. These fabrics are tailor-made to meet specific customer needs while maintaining high quality.

An example of such fabric is Albis Curacell®, which can absorb liquid flows over seven times its own weight and is made through an environmentally friendly process. The production line also includes an advanced system for preparing and blending materials.

Gianni Boscolo, the CEO of Albis, mentioned that partnering with ANDRITZ for this investment was a clear choice due to their expertise and innovation in the field. The new machine will help Albis meet client demands and continue creating nonwoven products that set new standards in the hygiene and medical sectors.
