The German textile machinery manufacturer Saurer Schlafhorst celebrated the sale of Autoconer winding unit number 2.5 million at INDIA ITME. The milestone winding unit will be delivered to the India-based textile company Kanchan India Ltd. in the first quarter of 2017. For Schlafhorst, INDIA ITME also proved a worthy occasion for holding a small reception to thank the Indian customers who have made such a significant contribution to this remarkable success.
The series production of the Autoconer 107 was launched in 1962, this kicked off the age of automatic package winding. Since then, the Autoconer name has been synonymous with automatic package winding. The Indian textile industry, which now boasts the second-largest textile production capacity in the world, also appreciates the benefits provided by all the different Autoconer product generations.
