Spun polyester yarn prices were relatively stable amid thin transaction in China while offers for some specs were lowered somewhat, and producers did not sell in large batches. Markets weakened with limited deals concluded that week.
Meanwhile, spinning mills in Hangzhou were shut for G20 summit limiting logistics and transportation. In other regions, traders and downstream producers held rigid demand for yarns.
In India, polyester yarn prices rolled over as cotton yarn prices were still firm.
In Pakistan, PSF prices have slightly risen in line with increase in China, but yarn prices are yet to reflect the rising cost as they rolled over that week.
