In Shengze, offers for 32s and 45s polyester yarn fell in the last week of September. In Qiangqing, offers for 32s weaving fell US cents 3 a kg on the week.

Polyester yarn offers in China were stable to down amid limited transaction volume and mute enquiring atmosphere. Yarn producers bought small volume of raw material as they were cautious during the National holiday and after.

In India, as demand and cotton prices faded, polyester yarn prices moved down slightly. However, yarn export did pick up sharply in August. Polyester yarn 30 knit yarn prices were stable in Indore while it inched down INR1 a kg in Ludhiana market.

Polyester yarn prices moved into different directions in Pakistan due to the volatility in cotton and polyester prices. However, PSF prices remained relatively stable, in line with the level of intermediate prices. Thus, polyester yarn prices rolled over.
