In Shengze, offers for 32s and 45s polyester yarn were both down US cents 2 a kg in the last week of June due to weak currency. In Qiangqing, 32s weaving were down US cents 2 a kg on the week.

Polyester spun yarn markets were calm and steady that week in China while offers were stable for 32s and 45s, with the latter seeing better demand and sales.

In Pakistan, although PSF prices stayed stable in the week after sliding 2.6% in last eight weeks due to lack of demand, polyester yarn prices moderated that week in Karachi market. 30s and 60s spun polyester prices fell US cents 2 a kg due to weak currency during the week.

In India, yarn prices rolled over in Ludhiana and Indore markets given the modest demand in domestic market while PSF prices remained unmoved for some weeks now.
