With acrylonitrile cost rising, ASF prices fluctuated amid lackluster buying interest from downstream mills.
In India, ASF prices rolled over as buying interest remained subdued, given lackluster performances of yarn and fabric, without any bullish factors. ASF offers were up US cent 1 a kg due to strong INR.
Overall, ASF prices may hold on to their current levels, citing comfortable inventory and because of the upcoming plant maintenance shutdown. It is expected that demand will remain flat until March end.
