Acrylic staple fibre prices remained stable on the week despite the surge in acrylonitrile cost over the past few weeks. Given poor sales in domestic market and weak sentiment in export market, some downstream yarn and fabric makers cut their operating rates.
In India, trading in domestic as well as export markets remained dismal under insipid downstream demand. Thus, ASF prices rolled over.
