YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2015-10-22 11:24:51 –

In Pakistan, 1.2D ASF prices dropped PakRs.35 a kg or US cents 33 a kg in the second week of October.

ASF prices in Pakistan were seen declining sharply owing to weak demand and receding cost.

In India, ASF offers were flat in local currency, but up US cents 3 a kg due to stronger INR.

Prices in India rolled over on cautious downstream demand. ASF markets are expected to remain range-bound in coming week.

In China, offers for cotton-type staple fiber were stable and medium-length staple prices rolled over.

Taiwan origin 3D bright tow offer pegged at US$1.90-2.12 a kg.

Mainstream producers in China offered stable, and mainstream prices changed little as propylene moderated and transaction saw marginal improvement.

In downstream yarn sector, producers lowered offers given lusterless sales and lukewarm end-user demand, and bought acrylic fiber hand to mouth volumes.

Acrylic staple fibre offers in China remained flat in October as upstream acrylonitrile prices were stable on the week.
