Zaber & Zubair Fabric Week 2023 focuses on sustainability

Zaber & Zubair presented a display of 40 new innovations at the Fabric Week 2023. This was displayed alongside 180 fresh products designed for the upcoming autumn and winter season of 2024-25, which were showcased to an international audience of buyers.

The company aims to bolster exports, strategically countering a recent shortage of orders experienced in the past months. This exclusive event was held in Gulshan marketing office, which gained the attention of both international buyers and local apparel manufacturers.

The company has introduced a wide range of sustainable fibres such as recycled yarn, banana, pineapple, ecovero, hemp, bamboo, livaeco, jute, and many more. To ensure comfort, they have also upgraded with a better version of Sorona and also introduced Lycra anti x slip for premium synthetic fiber in woven and denim products. This has positioned them as leaders in eco-friendly textiles.

The Managing Director of Noman Group, Mohammad Abdullah Zaber, emphasized the strong commitment to sustainable fabrics, revealing that they are presently producing fabrics with an impressive 75% sustainable properties. He mentioned that the company has made investments in research and development to produce more sustainable products.
