Wolford is strengthening its focus on advanced circular-knit skinwear, digital product development, and low-impact manufacturing as the company moves toward its next phase of growth and operational stability.

The company’s Sheer Drape capsule demonstrates this innovation by using yarns typically designed for tights machines to create ready-to-wear garments with draped effects knitted directly into the fabric. According to Wolford, the innovation lies in balancing yarn selection with circular knitting programming to achieve fluid drape while maintaining fit and resistance to runs. This approach could provide an alternative to traditional cut-and-sew constructions for dresses, skirts, and tops.

Wolford has also expanded its work with Merino wool through a partnership with The Woolmark Company. Ultra-fine Merino yarns are processed using the company’s specialised knitting machines to create smooth, elastic, and mostly seamless fabrics that combine warmth with a body-hugging fit. All products in this capsule carry Woolmark certification for fibre quality and performance.

On the materials side, the company is continuing to develop smart and sustainable fibres such as EMANA smart polyamide and BLUFIBRE, which is produced from upcycled tyre waste. EMANA is used in Wolford’s “Black & White Technique” to improve comfort, softness, and far-infrared thermoregulation properties in hosiery and bodywear. BLUFIBRE is being introduced into selected product lines to increase the use of circular raw materials while maintaining the fine gauges required for premium products.

Wolford also anticipates gradual improvement in the luxury goods market in 2026, while maintaining a strong focus on operational discipline, service quality, and sustainability across the hosiery and bodywear supply chain.
