VASTRA-2015 to kick off tomorrow in Pink city

Rajasthan Chief Minsiter Vasundhara Raje will be inaugurating the fourth International Apparel and Textile fair “Vastra-2015” tomorrow, and Union Minister of State for Textile (Independent charge) Santosh Gangwar will be the guest of honour, an official spokesman said today.

The three day fair will have around 300 overseas buyers from 56 countries participating. The participants will be from the US, the UK, Japan, Australia, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria, Africa, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, Turkey, Canada and the UAE, among others.

VASTRA is a comprehensive trade fair on Textiles and Apparel, aims at showcasing the best and latest in textiles from fiber to fashion, it mainly focuses on products like Fiber, Yarn, Fabric, Garment, Apparels, Home Textile & Furnishings, Made-ups, Accessories,
Fashion Trends, Traditional textiles, Technology & Machineries.

Vastra 2015 will not only provide a market place for the manufacturers but also will be an ideal platform for the upcoming fashion designers to interact and showcase their work to the pool of overseas buyers as well as exhibitors.

The fair will be held at Sitapura-based Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC).
