Unifi, Inc., the innovators behind REPREVE, has introduced Fortisyn, a next-generation abrasion-resistant yarn engineered for maximum durability in high-performance, tactical applications, specifically designed to meet the demands of military, first responder uniforms, and gear.

Fortisyn™ delivers enhanced tear and tensile strength, allowing fabrics to withstand harsh environments, rough handling, and intense physical conditions while maintaining form, function, and appearance over time. The yarn is available in nylon 6,6 and REPREVE Nylon, a recycled, circular nylon made from post-industrial waste.

The yarn is also Berry Amendment compliant, ensuring its availability for made-in-USA applications and reinforcing Unifi’s commitment to both innovation and domestic manufacturing.
