Ultrafabrics, a global brand known for its high-performance coated fabrics and alternative leathers, has unveiled Brisa Ellora, a new upholstery collection designed to offer breathable comfort and timeless style across various interior settings.
Inspired by the word “cloud,” Ellora is built for softness, sustainability, and calm aesthetics, making it suitable for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, automotive, and more. Known for its smooth texture, matte finish, and an advanced ventilation system that improves airflow, Brisa Ellora balances refined style with practical functionality. The collection features 25 nature-inspired shades carefully selected to pair well with other Brisa materials.
“Our vision for Brisa Ellora was to create a fabric that offers both visual beauty and physical comfort,” said Jennifer Hendren, Vice President of Product Development at Ultrafabrics. “It combines breathability, long-term durability, and an elegant look, giving designers a versatile and dependable solution for any space.”
Brisa Ellora is built with sustainability in mind. Its backcloth blends recycled polyester and certified rayon, with each yard reusing about eight plastic bottles. The material offers top-tier durability, tested at 300,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek) and 160,000 rubs (Martindale). It also provides a soft feel and excellent performance over time.
When used with Novawall systems, Brisa Ellora also offers sound-absorbing benefits. The collection can be cleaned with a bleach solution, contains no added formaldehyde or Red List chemicals, and holds certifications like SCS Indoor Advantage Gold and REACH compliance.
