Trivantage unveils Hydrofend Soft for surface protection

Trivantage, a leading supplier of marine fabrics and hardware, has unveiled Hydrofend Soft, a new cover fabric designed to protect sensitive surfaces in marine and outdoor settings. This latest addition to the Hydrofend line offers the same trusted weather resistance while featuring a soft knit backing to prevent scratches.

“Hydrofend Soft is perfect for high-value or scratch-sensitive items,” said Keith Purves, Business Development and Product Training Manager at Trivantage. “It’s an excellent option for covering antique and competition boats, patio furniture, RV windshields, airplane covers, and more.”

Compared to uncoated fabrics, Hydrofend delivers up to six times greater water resistance, providing strong protection against rain and moisture. The Soft version is made from durable polyester monofilament yarn, offering high tear and tensile strength. It is built to endure repeated use, making it a reliable solution season after season.
