Trivantage, a well-known supplier of fabrics and hardware for the shade industry, has launched a new shade sail fabric from PolyFab USA called XTRA.

Made from high-quality, heat-set materials, XTRA offers strong sun protection with up to 99% UV blockage and has been approved by the Melanoma International Foundation. Even at just 12 ounces per square yard, the fabric is lightweight, easy to work with, and still maintains excellent strength for its weight.

“XTRA is created to raise the standard for strength and safety,” said Keith Purves, business development and product manager at Trivantage. “It is the perfect option for medium to large shade structures and high-tensile commercial projects where long-lasting performance is important.”

With a width of 13 feet, XTRA is the widest standard shade fabric on the market. Its wider size helps reduce seams, shorten installation time, and improve the overall stability of the structure.
