The collaboration allows brands to manage product and supplier data in a more connected way. It links verified supply chain information directly to individual products through smart labelling.
As part of the partnership, Trimco Group’s expertise in labelling, packaging, RFID, and data systems will be combined with Retraced’s digital platform. This integration enables brands to track and manage information across the entire supply chain, from raw material sourcing to finished products.
Brands using this system can add QR codes, generated by Trimco Group, to their products. When scanned, these codes provide consumers, retailers, and regulators with clear and structured details about the product’s origin and journey.
Depending on brand needs, the data can be accessed through Trimco Group’s Digital Manager with ProductDNA or through Retraced’s platform. This system allows real-time access to verified supply chain data through QR codes, improving compliance and information sharing among all stakeholders.
The partnership is designed to help brands meet both current and upcoming regulations, including the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, while also improving overall transparency in the industry.
