Three day buyer seller meet B2B to begin from Nov 26

The regional office of the textile commissioner, Navi Mumbai in association with Mumbai Textile Merchants’ Mahajan is organizing Buyer-Seller Meet (B2B ) – Fabric, Garments & Madeups exhibition. This B2B event which will provide an opportunity to powerloom weavers for marketing their products at regional and cluster level and for promotion of powerloom specific or fibre specific or any other products of the powerloom sector in that area.

Over 5,000 trade visitors are expected to be the part of a three-day Buyer Seller Meet cum exhibition. The Textile Commissioner Dr Kavita Gupta, IAS will inaugurate the fair in Mumbai from November 26.

The exhibition is aimed to give a hand to powerloom weavers in promoting their products. The event will exhibits all types of fabrics, sarees, dress materials, suiting, churidar, dhoti, shirting, home furnishing products, etc.

Weavers from Mumbai, Bhiwandi, Ichalkaranji, Solapur, Malegaon, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Varanasi and from other parts of India are expected to attend the fair. The exhibitors will get an opportunity to lock fresh orders for the months ahead at the meet.

The event will also be attended by Dignitaries like Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) president Rahul Mehta; S. Balaraju, Executive Director, SRTEPC; Dhiraj Kothari, President, Mumbai Textile Merchant Mahajan Association; and Purshottam Vanga, Chairman of Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL).

The event will take place at Kohinoor Mangal Karyalay, near Dadar Central Railway station, Dadar East – Mumbai from November 26 to 28, between 10 a.m to 7 p.m. The entry to the event will be given against business card only.
