TextileGenesis and AEON enhance supply chain transparency

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2024-04-30 17:01:16 – Hong Kong

TextileGenesis, a subsidiary of Lectra Group, and AEON, a company specializing in digital product solutions, have teamed up to launch Digital Product Passports (DPPs). These passports help businesses connect their products' entire lifecycle and meet upcoming regulatory requirements.

The collaboration between AEON and TextileGenesis aims to assist companies in simplifying their supply chains, enhancing transparency, meeting legal standards, and promoting circular business models.

By utilizing TextileGenesis' traceability data, companies can create a digital twin for each physical product in the AEON platform, providing a unique digital identity for tracking, engagement, and various commercial purposes. This partnership enables downstream partners to expand circular services, access product information, and ensure end-to-end traceability for each item.

According to Amit Gautam, founder and CEO of TextileGenesis, this integration ensures that brands can connect DPPs with every product, providing certified supply chain data upstream and collected information downstream.

Natasha Franck, founder and CEO of AEON, described the collaboration as a significant advancement in product and material traceability, enabling brands to connect the entire lifecycle of each unique item for the first time.
