Teijin to exhibit 300 materials products at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics

Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics–Spring Edition 2017, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for apparel fabrics and accessories, to take place this March. Teijin is a technology-driven group has announced that Nantong Teijin, the group’s textile-manufacturing and sales company based in Nantong, China, will participate in the exhibition.

The company will showcase post-processed materials for the expanding outdoor market. One material, laminated Microft, is a moisture-permeable, water-repellent fabric that resists water pressure beyond 10,000mm yet has a supple texture thanks to its special laminating process, the company reports. Fashion fabrics mainly for bottoms, also will be exhibited at the stand.

The displays will also feature eco-friendly Teijin materials, including a cutting-edge chemically recycled polyester and SOLOTEX, a soft and stretchable polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre. Nantong Teijin will exhibit nearly 300 materials and 50 products in total.

Nantong Teijin, as a result of participating in Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics–Spring Edition 2017, looks forward to meeting new customers, as well as expanding transactions with existing customers and expanding its global markets for various fields, including sportswear and fashion apparel.

Teijin is a technology-driven group offering advanced solutions in the areas of sustainable transportation, information and electronics, safety and protection, environment and energy, and healthcare. Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will be held from 15 to 17 March at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China.
