The 10th edition of Techtextil India 2025 underscored how industry dialogue and collaboration are strengthening India’s ambition to expand high-value textile exports through environmentally responsible technologies.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, the three-day trade fair opened on 19 November 2025 and brought together global and domestic brands to explore innovations in technical textiles, nonwovens, and composites.
Serving as a key platform for decision-makers across mobility, healthcare, construction, filtration, protection, and sportswear, the fair enabled meaningful engagement between fibre producers, converters, brand owners, and end-users. Participation from industry associations and state textile departments further reinforced the event’s role in driving investment and policy alignment within India’s technical textiles ecosystem.
Sustainability emerged as a central theme throughout Techtextil India 2025. Conference sessions addressed circular supply chains, advanced recycling methods, bio-based materials, and resource-efficient manufacturing, aligning with India’s broader objective of strengthening exports through responsible and future-ready technologies.
The event also functioned as a launchpad for strategic announcements, including Brawntex Industries’ partnership with Japan-based Kurabo Industries, a specialist in fire-retardant fabrics. Exhibitors used the platform to introduce India-focused solutions for mobility, infrastructure, medical, hygiene, and protective applications. Products showcased ranged from specialised fabrics for firefighting gear and vehicle airbags to crop covers and protective textiles.
