TAF makes recycled acrylic fiber Regel available in finer deniers

Regel™ fiber, a brand-new recycled acrylic fiber from Thai Acrylic Fibre Co., Ltd. (TAF), has received an overwhelming response since its launch and is now expanding its product range in finer deniers – 1.5 and 2.5, as well as 3.0 deniers – which are now available for developing fabrics and applications.

Thai Acrylic Fibre Co., Ltd. (TAF), one of the major manufacturers of acrylic fibers and one of the top five acrylic fiber producers in the world, has developed Regel™ fiber. Regel™ is a recycled acrylic fiber that was created in response to the growing demand for sustainable fashion items from worldwide consumers, brands, and retailers.

Tuhin Kulshreshtha, Head of Marketing, TAF, said that Regel™ is a one-of-a-kind breakthrough since it is one of the first successful commercialization of recycled acrylic fiber" It is made using an authentic and intimate chemical recycling process that is functionally equal to acrylic fiber in terms of warmth, comfort, and brilliant colors. Regel™ is also a GRS-certified acrylic fiber.

Kulshreshtha added that they have received positive responses with Regel™ fiber, and as a result of those responses, they have expanded their product offerings further in finer deniers, enabling their customers to develop lightweight fabrics and applications to achieve comfort and functional support, such as innerwear, socks, baselayers, and sweaters.
