Syensqo, a global company known for its advanced materials, has joined hands with Fairmat, a French technology firm that recycles carbon fiber into strong, reusable materials. Through this new partnership, Fairmat will process and recycle carbon fiber prepreg waste from Syensqo’s UK facilities.
The recycled material will then be used to make new products for industries like sports, energy, transport, and electronics. This step reflects Syensqo’s strong focus on sustainability and supporting a circular economy.
“This agreement adds to the recycling partnerships we already have around the world and plays a key role in our larger plan to make composite materials more sustainable,” said Gabriel Molina, Sustainable Development Director at Syensqo Composite Materials. “We believe Fairmat is a dependable partner with a solid and eco-friendly business approach. We are excited to see how this partnership develops.”
“We are happy to work with Syensqo and support them in finding an eco-friendly solution for their waste in the UK,” said Benjamin Saada, Founder and CEO of Fairmat. “With our special and tested technology, we can recover valuable materials from their waste and turn them into high-performance products for various uses.”
