Sulzer has joined the ecosystem of Spinnova to help expand the availability of SPINNOVA® fibre in the textile market. Sulzer will contribute its technical knowledge to support Spinnova’s ongoing development work.

The new agreement formally defines Sulzer’s role in future technology development and strengthens Spinnova’s ecosystem by adding more engineering expertise. Spinnova’s ecosystem is designed to speed up the scaling of its technology and fibre production by involving partners across the value chain. Sulzer will support this goal in several ways, including helping to improve cost efficiency.

Mikko Kautto from Spinnova stated that working closely with Sulzer strengthens the company’s ability to scale its technology. By combining Sulzer’s expertise in areas like pumping, mixing, and fibre flow systems with Spinnova’s technology, the process can be made more efficient and suitable for large-scale production. He added that this partnership improves the entire process from planning to execution.
