Standard Textile has been chosen to present its SURPASS reusable underpad at the upcoming Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange. The event, hosted by Vizient will take place on September 17 in Las Vegas.

SURPASS was selected for providing an advanced alternative to disposable underpads, which, while convenient, contribute significantly to medical waste, about 29 pounds per bed per day, and increase long-term costs. Designed to meet or exceed the performance of both disposable and reusable options, SURPASS can replace up to 60 disposable pads during its lifespan.

By reducing moisture build-up, it supports a healthier skin environment and helps prevent moisture-related skin damage, offering better patient care while reducing environmental impact and expenses for healthcare facilities.
