Soorty has partnered with Jeanologia to introduce Fast Fade, a new denim fabric collection specially developed for digital finishing technologies. The fabrics are produced using blends of conventional cotton, Tencel, and Second Life, Soorty’s traceable recycled cotton denim platform.
The collaboration aims to help denim manufacturers achieve strong contrast effects and authentic wash appearances without depending heavily on traditional wet processing methods that consume large amounts of water, chemicals, and manual labour.
According to the two companies, the Fast Fade collection has been engineered to work efficiently with laser and dry finishing technologies. The fabrics are designed to create brighter surfaces and sharper contrast effects while reducing the need for manual whiskering, hand sanding, and wet chemical treatments.
The collection includes five rigid denim fabrics available in two indigo shades and three black shades. These fabrics were developed using carefully selected fibres, specialised yarn construction, and weaving methods designed to work closely with Jeanologia’s laser finishing systems.
