Shima Seiki at Première Vision Istanbul to present latest line of technology

Shima Seiki MFG., Wakayama, a leading computerized knitting machinery manufacturer to participate at the Première Vision show will be exhibiting its latest line of computerized knitting machines, including seam-free Wholegarment knitwear that features superior fit, comfort and draping characteristics.

This event showcases a wide range of products and services such as yarns, fashion and denim fabrics, trimmings and patterns etc. in the Textile, Fabrics & Yarns industry. The exhibitors from all across the globe gather here to showcase their products.

Taking centre stage will be the SDS-ONE APEX3 3D design system. At the core of Shima Seiki’s Total Fashion System concept, APEX3 integrates all stages of apparel production into one smooth and efficient workflow from planning and design to production and sales promotion.

With ultra-realistic product simulations, APEX3 is also capable of Virtual Sampling that minimizes the costly time- and resource-consuming sample-making process. APEX3 supports design and simulation in a variety of textile industries including Wholegarment knitting, flat knitting, circular knitting, weaving, pile weaving and printing.

Representing the production aspect of the Total Fashion System at Première Vision will be SWG091N2, the largest in the SWG-N2 line of compact Wholegarment knitting machines.

Featuring Shima Seiki’s original SlideNeedle, the SWG-N2 series is said to offer great flexibility with the capability to produce a variety of accessory items such as gloves, socks, leggings, hats and mufflers, as well as childrenswear and even technical textiles. Its versatility makes the SWG-N2 series ideal for a range of applications from production in large-scale knitting factories to sampling in design studios as well as R&D and educational facilities, the company reports.

Premiere Vision Istanbul is a 3 day event being held from 23rd March to the 25th March 2016 at the CNR Expo Center in Istanbul, Turkey .
