Shanghaitex 2015, the 17th International Exhibition on Textile Industry is set to take place from 15-18 June 2015 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The exhibition will be featuring a range of applications of knitting and hosiery technology, including knitted shoes uppers, denim wear, functional sportswear, knit health protection, compression socks, and interior auto parts.

First launched and marketed by Nike and Adidas, the trend of seamlessly knitted running shoes has begun to sweep the globe, according to organisers it will be one of the highlights of the show.

One-piece knitted shoe uppers are said to deliver great ergonomic comfort as their tightness, style and pattern are in extremely precise control during design and production.

In response to market trend and demand, the acclaimed Knitting & Hosiery Machinery Zone will be featured at Hall W1 & W2, dedicated to help exhibitors to grasp high-growth market opportunities by exploring the latest applications of advanced knitting and hosiery machinery and technology.

The 17th International Exhibition on Textile Industry (ShanghaiTex 2015) will be held in Shanghai Pudong, China, featuring seven exhibiting zones across 9 halls, covering an exhibiting area of more than 100,000 square metres.
