Serge Ferrari Group has unveiled Batyline [Stam]Skin Feel, a new addition to its acclaimed upholstery collection designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Made with 47% bio-based content, including an organic cotton base and recycled material derived from food waste, the fabric is a USDA Certified Biobased Product and part of the U.S. BioPreferred Program.
Combining sustainability with superior performance, Batyline [Stam]Skin Feel offers exceptional comfort, durability, and a soft, smooth finish ideal for residential, commercial, contract, and marine environments. Its silicone-like feel and ease of cleaning make it a versatile choice for demanding design applications.
Launched in celebration of Serge Ferrari’s 50th anniversary, the fabric exemplifies the company’s longstanding commitment to eco-conscious innovation. “This new product reflects our legacy of performance textiles while advancing our mission to manufacture more sustainable materials,” said Constance Kocher, Design and Collection Manager for the Batyline brand.
The product is GreenGuard-certified, phthalate-free, and meets all North American fire-retardancy standards. “Batyline Skin Feel sets a new benchmark by delivering both sustainability and exceptional fire resistance,” added Clara Geoffroy, Product Manager for Batyline and Stamoid brands.
