Paris-based fashion brand Sandro has partnered with leading rental platform HURR to launch its first UK rental service, giving customers the opportunity to rent pieces from the current SS23 collection.
It follows Sandro's successful entry into the French rental market in 2022 and is in line with the company's ongoing commitment to "more responsible fashion," which has included a number of initiatives like the Sandro Seconde Main service in 2021.
Sandro CEO, Isabelle Allouch, said that this additional development in the realm of fashion rentals reinforces their desire to promote circular consumption practices. Additionally, it adds to the steps they've previously made and strengthens their overall responsibility to the environment and people.
Victoria Prew, Founder and CEO of HURR, added that they are really happy and proud to be officially introducing a spring capsule collection by Sandro on HURR, which they know will be a smash with their HURR family. Sandro's newest collection is their best yet. They have mastered Parisian elegance with a modern, fresh air.
Sandro was established in 1984 as a high-end, modern womenswear brand by Évelyne Chetrite. Once her son, Ilan Chetrite, joined the business, menswear was added in 2008 under the brand Sandro Homme. SMCP Group, which also consists of Maje, Claudie Pierlot, and De Fursac, currently incorporates the company.
