Open for Vintage (OFV), a secondhand marketplace established in Europe, has its sights set on the US market and has partnered with Poshmark to facilitate its entry into the country.
About 100,000 authenticated, pre-owned luxury products will be made available through the OFV Poshmark closet as a result of the agreement, giving US customers access to the platform's services for the first time.
According to OFV, the vintage goods come from Parisian and Milanese retailers and include anything from Gucci handbags to Chanel jewelry.
OFV intends to engage with Poshmark's predominantly Gen Z and Millennial population by growing with it as it seeks to raise awareness.
Colin Saunders, OFV’s CEO, said that the US is a key strategic market for OFV. They have noticed a huge increase in US clients using their platform in the past year. By giving the US market more access to and service with regard to their trusted selection of the absolute best in luxury resale, they are now better able to serve the US market.
The platform said that OFV has established itself as a "recognized destination in luxury resale," supplying certified luxury goods from prestigious shops in an effort to persuade customers to engage in the circular economy.
