Recover, Ünteks Group expand recycled cotton knitwear

Recover, a global producer of low-impact recycled cotton fiber, has partnered with Turkey-based Ünteks Group to develop circular knit fabrics and garments made with recycled cotton.

The collaboration combines Recover’s recycled cotton fibre with Ünteks Group’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities, which include knitting, dyeing, printing, and garment production. The partnership aims to create sustainable knitwear suitable for large-scale, everyday apparel applications.

The initial collection includes a variety of circular knit fabric constructions. Each fabric contains at least 20% Recover recycled cotton, providing a balance of performance, consistent quality, lower environmental impact, and improved transparency throughout the supply chain.

By combining recycled material innovation with large-scale manufacturing expertise, Recover and Ünteks Group aim to increase the use of recycled cotton in circular knitwear and expand its adoption across everyday apparel categories.
