PrimaLoft, a global insulation specialist, has introduced six new insulation products aimed at expanding design and performance options for outdoor clothing and accessories. The range includes UltraPeak, described as the brand’s highest-performing insulation so far, along with new solutions made using mechanically and chemically recycled textile waste.
UltraPeak is PrimaLoft’s warmest insulation. It offers high warmth, increased loft and a soft hand feel designed for long-lasting comfort. The insulation uses specially designed fibre structures to trap heat more effectively and is produced using 100% recycled materials.
Advances in PrimaLoft’s ReRun textile-to-textile recycling platform have also resulted in the launch of ThermoPlume. This loose-fill insulation creates a down-like appearance while supporting flexible garment styling. ThermoPlume is made entirely from recycled materials, including 30% mechanically recycled fibres sourced from pre-consumer footwear uppers.
Another addition, Silver PrimaLoft ReRun, is produced through a regenerative recycling process that breaks down waste textiles at a molecular level before reforming them into high-performance insulation. The material uses fine, soft fibres to deliver lightweight warmth and strong thermal efficiency. It matches the performance of leading insulations and is made with 100% recycled content, including 50% regeneratively recycled textile waste.
The collection also includes three further products. ThermaStretch offers 30% more stretch than comparable insulations and a recovery rate of 98%. HeatSphere features a reflective layer that helps retain body heat. Rise SB is designed specifically for sleeping bags, combining high loft with strong compressibility.
