PrimaLoft has launched its warmest insulation to date, called UltraPeak, designed to deliver exceptional warmth, softness, and sustainability for high-performance outdoor garments.

The innovative structure features unique architectural fibres that interlock with surrounding microfibres to form a scaffolding effect, capturing more air to retain body heat more efficiently. This design not only enhances thermal performance but also gives UltraPeak a soft, lofty texture similar to natural down.

UltraPeak offers down-like warmth and comfort in a batted insulation format, eliminating the handling challenges of loose-fill alternatives and providing brands with improved manufacturing efficiency when developing technical outerwear.

The insulation is produced using PrimaLoft’s proprietary PURE (Produced Using Reduced Emissions) renewable manufacturing technology, which cuts carbon emissions by up to 70% compared to conventional processes.

In creating PURE, PrimaLoft engineers examined every stage of production, from material selection and formulation to equipment and energy use, to design a holistic, low-emission system that significantly lowers the environmental impact of insulation manufacturing. The company is now expanding production under this system to meet growing sustainability goals.
