Presenting at Denimsandjeans their collection based on a new production model that is completely technological, sustainable and respectful of worker's health

Jeanologia, the Spanish company leader in development of sustainable and efficient technology, backs the textile industry in India in redefining the future of their production and contributing to the consolidation of its digital revolution.

The company drives and leads the change in India, the key being the combination of their disruptive technologies, capable of establishing a new operating model that brings the jean industry into the digital era, while reducing environmental impact and optimizing time to market.

It’s worth highlighting that 80% of production using sustainable technology for garment finishing in India is done using Jeanologia technology, a percentage the increases every year.

Kanchan stresses Jeanologia’s backing of the Indian textile industry and reminds us that “we have already been in this market for 14 years, contributing with our technology to a radical transformation of the country’s industry in moving towards sustainability, efficiency and competitivity, without losing sight of the product or compromising on design.

An innovative and sustainable collection -At Denimsandjeans, Jeanologia will present their collection Made in India, based on the new totally digital production model, in which manual and environmentally dangerous processes are eliminated and replaced by eco-eficient processes that are respectful of workers’ heatlh.

The collection Made in India has been developed 100% digitally using a combination of Jeanologia technologies. Kanchan explains “the traditional model was being used in the country: production with low added-value and based on manual processes. The digital model, which we have been introducing, achieves a high value-added product that is completely sustainable and has a shorter production time.

“The combination of our technologies, laser, ozone and eflow, combined with the correct selection of fabric using our Light Sensitive Fabric tool, allows for a saving of 80% in water and 50% in chemical usage, shortening production time by 30%” indicates the Asia Area Manager at Jeanologia.

“Furthermore”, he adds “the environmental impact of the collection has been analyzed with the EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement), the Jeanologia software that measures water, energy and chemical consumption during the production process. All of the garments from the collection have an EIM score of low environmental impact, contributing to a minimal impact on its surroundings.

Conference: “The dawn of a new era in denim” During Denimsandjeans, Jeanologia will lead an alliance with the main industry agents in India. With the objective of a complete detoxication of garment production and will present the keys to the “dehydration” of the jeans finishing industry by 2025 with a neutral cost and through sustainable solutions.

Also, Jordi Juani, Division director at Jeanologia, will participate in the panel “The dawn of a new era in denim” where he will drive home the need for radical change in the current production systems and the coming-together of all the main actors in achieving jean production that is respectful of the environment.
