This initiative is crafted to minimize the loss of micro-fibers and enhance fabric durability during washing. ShedGuard™ aims to extend the lifespan of textiles, ensuring customers enjoy products that last longer.

Polygiene, known for its Mindful Living® philosophy, is actively promoting sustainable practices through ShedGuard™. This innovation encourages the shift from disposable to durable products, emphasizing a more sustainable approach to designing and delivering goods.

Polygiene ShedGuard™ is currently in the advanced stages of development. The final testing and refinement phase is set to occur in collaboration with selected Polygiene partners throughout 2024. ShedGuard™ comprises a unique blend of polymers forming a protective film around fiber bundles. This film prevents microfibrils from separating, splitting, and tearing away from the fabric structure.
