Pakistan sees decrease in towel export by 16-20 percent plunging to $56.245 million in July 2016-17, according to official figures. Towel export fall stands at $10.874 million in July 2016-17 as compared the textile product's export of $67.119 million in July 2015-16.

In term of volume, towel export dropped by 23.43 percent or 3715 metric tons to 12,144 metric tons in July 2016-17 from 15,859 metric tons in July 2015-16.

While, in terms of Towel export quantity, July 2016 also slided by 6.33 percent or 821 metric tons from 12,965 metric tons in June 2016, according to the statistics.

On a monthly basis the country's towel export dipped by seven percent or $4.069 million in July 2016 from $60.314 million in June 2016.
