Pakistan textile manufacturers adopt FibreTrace traceability tech

YarnsandFibers News Bureau 2022-12-21 11:14:16 – Australia

Vertically integrated mill Diamond Denim by Sapphire and garment manufacturer Artistic Apparel announced that they are adopting FibreTrace® championing conscious textiles and source-to-store transparency using physical traceability technology.

This dedication to environmental responsibility extends to the use of climate-friendly Good Earth Cotton® in the conscious collections of both new partners, Diamond Denim by Sapphire (a vertically integrated mill) and Artistic Apparels (a clothing manufacturer), which are all audited and traced at every stage of the supply chain.

With the understanding that authenticated and measurable physical traceability is a requirement for sustainability in the global supply chain, the new partners have chosen FibreTrace VERIFIED and Good Earth Cotton.

A vertically integrated mill owned by one of the largest conglomerates in the nation, Diamond Denim by Sapphire, is excited to be able to transparently validate and confirm the provenance of their Good Earth Cotton textiles using FibreTrace as part of a project that complements the company's ongoing investment in sustainable textiles, solar-powered operations, and environmentally friendly department upgrades.

Ali Abdullah, CEO at Diamond Denim by Sapphire, said that sustainability and transparency are their main areas of concentration when producing fabrics today. By giving their clients verifiable, precise, and traceable information about their cotton supply chain, working with Good Earth Cotton will help them advance along this road.

Artistic Apparels, a forward-thinking clothing company, is delighted to set the standard for the sector. The manufacturer intends to open the door for a transparent, traceable, and sustainable textile sector by partnering with FibreTrace and Good Earth Cotton.

Ayesha Jan, head of Department, Development & Innovation, Artistic Apparels, said that as a garment maker, they felt the compelling need to produce sustainable and traceable products to their clients and integrate a system of accountability and transparency into their supply chains. Their partnership with FibreTrace enables them to be aware of the effects of every product they produce and ensures that they can contribute to the fight against climate change by lowering their carbon emissions.
