Pahartali and Hosiery Mills (PTHM), a spinning unit of MM Ispahani Ltd established in 1954, is one of the pioneers of textile manufacturing in Bangladesh. Due to increased demand for high quality knitting yarn used in export-oriented industries, as part of its expansion plan set up a new blend yarn unit at Ispahani Complex of Pahartali in Chittagong.

The new unit was inaugurated the Chairman of the company Ali Behrouze Ispahani. The new blend yarn unit has successfully started its commercial production.

The new ring spinning unit having a capacity of 14,688 spindles is completely computerized with most sophisticated and advanced technologies from Europe and Japan aimed at producing quality yarn to meet the growing demands for its largest export-oriented sector.

The company is into multi-dimensional business activities including jute, tea, textiles, engineering, shipping, matches and plywood.
