Bridgwater-based technical textiles manufacturer Nonwovenn is advancing its capabilities further following a £13 million transformation programme. The company is making additional investments to enhance its technical fabric offerings.
As part of its strategy, Nonwovenn is upgrading an existing impregnation line and adding a second one to double production capacity. The company is also expanding its team to support a broader portfolio of advanced solutions in respiratory protection, air and liquid filtration, including activated carbon and coalescer filtration, and new acoustic products.
Coalescer filtration separates liquids from liquids or gases, such as removing oil and fine particles from compressed air systems. With established partnerships in place, Nonwovenn aims to double its sales in this category within 12 to 18 months.
Nonwovenn has also developed a new acoustic product for ceiling and wall panels and automotive uses, achieving a noise reduction coefficient of up to 0.85—without relying on mineral or fiberglass mats. The company plans to expand in the acoustic solutions segment by 70% over the next three years in response to growing demand.
Additional growth is expected in the cable industry through the company’s development of swellable and semiconductive nonwoven materials.
“InduTech is a key growth area for Nonwovenn,” said Fabrizio Tiribilli, Industrial Business Director. “Our recent investments underline our commitment to innovation. By increasing capacity, enhancing efficiency, and driving product development, we’re aligning with evolving customer needs in these markets.”
