NEXT@Fashion InStyle to debut innovative designs solutions

Innovative materials meet fashion-forward design at NEXT@Fashion InStyle, a newly launched zone at the Fashion InStyle trade show organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). Running from April 27–30, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the event will spotlight how next-gen materials can be transformed into impactful, stylish garments.

With more than 400 exhibitors across textiles, fashion tech, sustainable solutions, seasonal fashion, and accessories, NEXT@Fashion InStyle will be the hub for over 60 pioneering material suppliers. These include innovators working with biodegradable and cruelty-free alternatives such as seaweed, mushroom leather, tequila waste, banana fiber, recycled plastics, and natural dyes.

Han Chong, founder of the acclaimed fashion label Self-Portrait, serves as the ambassador for this initiative, reinforcing the zone’s mission to merge sustainability with contemporary design. By gathering trailblazing designers and new-age materials under one roof, NEXT@Fashion InStyle aims to demonstrate that the future of fashion isn’t just ethical—it’s exciting, wearable, and commercially viable.
