Panda Biotech, TDMI Twin Dragon launch hemp denim line

Panda Biotech has partnered with TDMI Twin Dragon to unveil a groundbreaking hemp denim collection crafted from 100% American-grown industrial hemp, marking a major leap toward sustainable fashion. Backed by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe Growth Fund, this collaboration emphasizes regenerative agriculture, local sourcing, and full traceability to offer a durable, eco-friendly alternative to traditional denim.

“This launch marks a significant milestone, with our mechanically cottonized hemp fiber—produced without chemicals or water—bringing unmatched traceability to the market,” said Panda Biotech President Dixie Carter. “It’s a step toward a greener, more resilient denim supply chain.”

The collection features two key fabrications: rigid hemp denim for vintage-inspired durability and comfort stretch hemp denim for everyday wearability. Both fabrics highlight hemp’s sustainable benefits including reduced water consumption, natural antimicrobial properties, and biodegradability.

TDMI Twin Dragon CEO Dominic Poon emphasized, “By combining our denim innovation with Panda’s fiber expertise, we’re offering high-performance, eco-conscious fabrics that answer the call for sustainable fashion from both consumers and the planet.”
