The U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol has announced that Next Level Apparel, a family-founded supplier of premium blank apparel, has joined the program as its newest brand and retailer member. By joining the program, Next Level Apparel reinforces its commitment to producing high-quality garments that are sourced and manufactured in an ethical and accountable manner.
Through participation in the Trust Protocol, Next Level Apparel’s cotton sourcing will be assessed using measurable indicators such as soil health, water usage, nutrient management and greenhouse gas emissions. The program’s digital tracking system offers verified visibility across the supply chain, allowing the company to trace cotton from raw fiber through to finished apparel.
Brett Bjorkman, chief executive officer of Next Level Apparel, said responsible sourcing has always been a core value of the company. He added that joining the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol allows the brand to independently confirm the sustainability of its cotton and ensure its products meet high standards of transparency and continuous improvement.
Gary Adams, president of the U.S. Cotton Trust Protocol, welcomed Next Level Apparel to the program, noting that the company’s focus on responsible sourcing and supply chain integrity closely aligns with the protocol’s mission. He said the membership will provide Next Level Apparel with data-driven insights to help meet rising global demand for sustainably produced cotton, particularly in performance apparel.
