Nalco Water, a company of Ecolab, has entered into a three-year strategic collaboration with international technology group ANDRITZ to support innovation and speed up product development at the PrimeLineTIAC Tissue Innovation and Application Center (TIAC) in Graz, Austria.

As part of the collaboration, Nalco Water will act as a strategic partner for ANDRITZ at its advanced pilot tissue machine at TIAC. This will allow Nalco Water to test and validate its chemical, digital, and automation solutions in a controlled environment that closely reflects industrial-scale production.

The partnership will give Nalco Water increased access to the pilot machine, enabling faster development cycles and quicker market introduction of new tissue solutions for customers.

Ravi Raghavapudi, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Global Nalco Water Paper, said the collaboration allows Nalco Water to develop and test solutions in real production conditions. He added that the partnership helps shorten development timelines and enables customers to trial solutions before applying them to their own manufacturing operations.
