Mumbai is all set to host the fifth edition of Technotex 2016, India’s premier show on technical textiles, organized by the Government of India, in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) will be held in Mumbai in April 2016 with the objective to make India a manufacturing hub in the area of Technical Textiles, under the “Make in India†initiative of Government of India.
The 5th International Exhibition & Conference on Technical Textiles recognizes the immense potential of technical textiles and its increasingly diverse and innovative applications. Fittingly, the event has a ‘smart’ theme: “Technical Textiles – Towards a Smart Futureâ€.
Technotex 2016 will focus on the industrial sectors such as medical textiles, transport textiles, industrial textiles, eco textiles, packaging textiles and other textiles like protective, sport, agro, construction and clothing textiles.
With more than 200 exhibitors’ participating from the nations like Korea, Switzerland, Japan, U.S.A, Germany, Belgium, UK, Austria, Italy and several more., a high footfall is expected this year at the fair.
It will be an ideal podium for the exchange of ideas among the technical textile players from across the globe and will also have country pavilions of Taiwan and China. The event will prove to be gainful for both buyers and sellers with its B2B (business to business) and G2B (government to business) meetings.
The fair is famous for setting a benchmark for excellence in the field of technical textile, held annually by the Government of India, in association with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI). The event will identify new business opportunities and create an environment congenial for growth.
Technotex 2016 is going to be held from April 21 – 23, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai. The event will have concurrent conference on technical textiles.
