Modern Meadow, a pioneer in bio-design innovation, will unveil its next-generation sustainable material, now rebranded as INNOVERA, at the Global Fashion Summit in Copenhagen, held from June 3–5. Formerly known as BIO-VERA, INNOVERA will now serve as the company’s flagship product, underscoring its commitment to delivering the most advanced and eco-conscious alternative to traditional leather.

CEO Dr. David Williamson will represent the company in a panel discussion titled “Bio-Design Futures”, where he will highlight the importance of bioengineering, plant-derived proteins, and scalable sustainable solutions in shaping the future of fashion.

Crafted from plant-based proteins, biopolymers, and recycled rubber, INNOVERA boasts over 80% renewable carbon content. Entirely animal-free, the material mimics the look and feel of leather collagen while being twice as strong and significantly lighter. It is versatile in color, finish, and texture, requires no special storage conditions, and is compatible with standard manufacturing methods.
